30-day money-back guarantee

WordSpark offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on every word purchase. If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date.

How to request a refund

Purchases are sold by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which processes all refunds. To request one, visit paddle.net with the email address you used at checkout, or write to us at hello@buyword.app and we will arrange it with Paddle. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.

If we reject your word

If moderation rejects the word you bought, we refund you in full automatically — you don't need to ask — and that day falls back to an editorial word.

Words already published

Refunding a purchase after the day has run ends the sponsorship: we may remove the sponsor name, link and message from the archive entry, though the word itself stays part of the game's history.
